Well, here it is, the end of February already, the month of Love. How did you fare? Did you use your new handwriting skills to help you at all?

We are dedicating this newsletter exclusively to “Love and Handwriting”, and learning to recognize some key traits that you may or may not like in a date, lover, or spouse.

But why would you want to analyze your date’s handwriting? This might seem like a no-brainer, but I am constantly amazed at the people that can’t answer that.  For starters, check it to see if you are truly compatible! If nothing else, be forewarned of things to save yourself heartache down the road!

So what do you want to look for in a date’s handwriting? Answers to this will run the gamut :-). Well, we can look at this from either what are you looking for, or what do you want to avoid?

So let’s look first at a few things that you might be LOOKING for and want in a date.

Are you looking for intelligence? Check for pointed humps on their M’s and N’s like these
.

Are you looking for a social extrovert? Does their writing slant forward?

Or how about someone that fairly in-between, not too outgoing, but who doesn’t hide in a corner either? Is their writing more or less vertical like this?

Looking for someone with high ideals and/or ambition? How large are their Capital letters in the upper area in comparison to everything else? Be careful here though, Too large can be too much, and indicate a large ego and other more self centered traits.

Or are you just plain and simple looking for someone good in bed, heaven forbid? How large are their lower case Y and G loops below the line? Though this characteristic is often found in very gregarious people, it IS also often found in people with large physical appetites for things like food and sex.

Interesting, eh? :-)

Let’s also take a brief look at some traits most people want to avoid in a date! Some people call these “Hell traits”, others just call them maladjustments. Whatever the case, I think that you’ll agree that most people would want to avoid them in a serious personal relationship.

Is your date deceitful or a liar? Do their lowercase O’s have double loops like this? Loops to the left indicate tendencies towards self delusion, whereas loops on the right indicate the ability to keep secrets from others. Together they just plain spell bad news all the way around.

Is your date domineering or a possible control freak? Look at their capitals (overly large) and their “T” bars (heavy and slanted hard - more than 45 degrees - down to the right). This is a combination that I check out very thoroughly in a date before I get very serious. If these 2 handwriting characteristics were ever combined with overly large lower case G and Y lower loops, I would exercise extreme caution with this person. Large lower loops CAN indicate insatiable physical appetites for things like sex and food, and control freak-ism in either area can get a little scary. You would have to look at several other characteristics as well to narrow this down, because this characteristic is also often found in very gregarious people, and that might not be quite so bad....

Here’s one that most people don’t care for either. Low self esteem. It’s hard to be around a person with low self-esteem. Look at their “T”-bar crossing. Is it lower than it should be? This is one of the biggest single indicators of self-esteem problems. Now look at the slant of their writing. If it’s forward, you’re very likely dealing with a person who must surround themselves with people all the time in order to feel good about themselves, and they tend to find their self identity in people other than themselves. That scares me. On the other hand though too, if their writing slants back to their left, you’re dealing with an introvert that actually tends to be anti-social and will hide inside themselves and be hard to interact with. See the examples above of the handwriting slants that I am talking about. That scares me too, especially if there are also violent looking strokes in their writing. Does the phrase “Going Postal” mean anything to you? This is the person that no one ever expected to lose it.

There's other traits that I also often look for as well, that annoy me to no end in relationships: things like Procrastination, absolute perfectionism, and others. Learn more about these by going to our website and/or emailing LaVina Pratt about working with you to do a full workup or training session!

If you notice, I have pointed out a number of trait combinations above that mean more when taken together than they do individually. This is a factor in outlining a truly comprehensive handwriting analysis of a person. Looking at traits in combination, or as some people like to call it, trait stacking.

Of course you are ALWAYS welcome to visit our website and take our FREE online self-test at http://www.handwritings.com to get a basic idea of who the person behind some sample of handwriting might be.
